IONIA. Phokaia. Circa 625/0-522 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 9 mm, 2.55 g). Ram recumbent to left; above, seal swimming left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Bodenstedt 18. SNG von Aulock 7945. Very rare and in exceptional condition for the issue, a sharply struck piece with a lovely reddish tone. Struck on a slightly short flan, otherwise, extremely fine.
